If you love a rice krispie treat then you have to try these Rainbow Treats made from Mini Trix Cereal to give them a fruity flavor and pretty rainbow colors.

I recently made Magically Delicious Lucky Charm Snack Mix and had a big box of Mini Trix leftover. So of course I made rice krispie treats out of them. They turned out so much better than I expected. They're ooey and gooey and the Mini Trix gave them a slight fruity flavor. Not to mention they're so pretty with the bright rainbow colors, perfect for St. Patricks Day or any brightly colored rainbow party.

Before you start cooking be sure to have out all of your ingredients. Go ahead and prepare your pan, measure out your Trix, open your marshmallows and grease your spatula. You don't want to overcook your ingredients so having everything ready to go will make this process go much smoother.

Mini Trix Rainbow Treats

Makes 16 mini squares

Ingredients:

• 5 Tbsp butter

• 10 oz mini marshmallows

• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

• 6 cups Mini Trix Cereal

Directions:

• Prepare a 9x12 baking dish by lining with parchment paper or greasing well. Measure out your Trix and set aside.

• In a large pan over med heat, melt butter.

• When butter is melted pour in marshamallows. Stir until marshmallows have fully melted.

• Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

• Gently mix in cereal until equally coated.

• Using a slightly greased spatula press in to pan.

• Allow to cool for at least one hour before cutting in to squares with a sharp knife.
